Fire, Security and Video Surveillance
CONTINUUM apartments are equipped with an integrated fire, safety, and security system designed to protect guests, apartments, shared areas, and the estate as a whole.
The system includes fire detection, safety monitoring, and, where applicable, selected security protection functions.
Fire Detection
Fire detection sensors are installed in key apartment areas and shared technical zones.
Depending on the location and apartment configuration, sensors may react to:
- Smoke.
- Steam.
- High temperature.
- Cooking smoke or cooking fumes.
- Gas-related safety signals, where applicable.
- Even a small amount of cigarette smoke, vape aerosol, or other smoking-related particles inside the apartment.
Please note that some apartment sensors are highly sensitive. This is intentional and is part of the safety design of the estate.
Smoking inside the apartments is strictly prohibited by the house rules. Even minor smoking indoors may be detected by the fire and safety system, trigger an alarm, disturb other guests, and require staff intervention.
Avoiding False Alarms
To reduce the risk of triggering a false fire alarm, please follow the apartment instructions carefully.
In particular:
- Always use the range hood / kitchen hood / aspirator when cooking.
- In apartments with an additional kitchen extractor fan, use it when frying, cooking intensively, or using strong spices.
- Do not allow excessive steam, smoke, or cooking fumes to build up inside the apartment.
- Do not smoke, vape, or use any smoking devices inside the apartment.
- Follow the instructions for fireplaces, where applicable.
- Do not cover, touch, disconnect, or tamper with any fire detection sensors.
- Do not use candles, open flames, or unsafe heating devices unless specifically allowed.
A false alarm may disturb other guests and may require staff intervention.
Any smoking inside the apartment is considered a serious violation of the house rules and may result in additional charges according to the applicable policies.
In Case of Alarm
If a fire alarm is triggered, please remain calm and act safely.
If the reason is obvious and safe to handle, for example cooking steam or cooking smoke, stop the source immediately, switch on kitchen ventilation, and contact management.
If there is any sign of real danger, smoke, fire, gas smell, or uncertainty, leave the apartment immediately and follow safety instructions from the management or emergency services.
Please do not ignore an alarm and do not try to disable the system yourself.
Security Protection
Some apartments may have additional security protection functions, including perimeter-related protection when the apartment is unoccupied.
This function is not automatically available for every stay.
Its availability may depend on:
- Rate plan.
- Reservation type.
- Stay duration.
- Apartment configuration.
- Management approval.

Video Surveillance
Video surveillance is used on the exterior and shared parts of the estate for safety, access control, property protection, and perimeter monitoring.
Cameras may be installed in outdoor and common areas such as:
- Entrance and access areas.
- Garage and parking zones.
- Exterior parts of the building.
- Gardens and pathways.
- Outdoor pool areas.
- Beach access and related exterior areas.
There are no cameras inside the apartments.
We do not use hidden cameras or disguised surveillance devices inside guest accommodation.
Privacy Note
Video surveillance is used only for legitimate safety, security, and operational purposes.
The system is intended to protect guests, staff, property, and shared areas, while respecting the privacy of apartment interiors.
