Kitchen Usage
We welcome guests to cook their own meals in the apartments, as it adds to a cozy, homely atmosphere.
Most apartments are equipped with functional kitchens, including basic cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery, and kitchen appliances.
Please note that the exact kitchen equipment may vary slightly depending on the apartment category and layout.
Welcome Set
At the beginning of your stay, we provide a small welcome set for your comfort.
It may include:
- Tea bags.
- One coffee capsule per guest.
- Sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Honey, creamer, or similar items.
- A few small snacks or biscuits.
The welcome set is provided as a courtesy on arrival and is not replenished automatically during the stay.
Coffee capsules are provided only as part of the welcome set. The capsules compatible with the coffee machines installed in the apartments are commonly available and can usually be purchased in larger supermarkets.
At the moment, we have not yet launched our own online shop and therefore cannot regularly supply guests with coffee capsules or other food products during their stay.
In exceptional cases, if you urgently need a small quantity of compatible capsules, we may be able to assist with delivery, subject to availability and staff capacity.
Starter Cleaning Set
A starter set of household cleaning products is provided free of charge.
It usually includes:
- Several dishwasher tablets.
- Dishwashing liquid.
- A sponge.
- A brush.
- A roll of paper towels.
This starter set is intended to help you begin your stay comfortably. Further supply of consumable household items is not included in the standard service.
If any consumables run out during your stay, please purchase additional items yourself. They are widely available in local shops and supermarkets.
Additional Kitchen Items
Extra kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, or other items may be provided upon request, subject to availability.
High-quality wine glasses are available upon request.
Broken, Damaged, or Missing Items
If any glassware, tableware, kitchen utensils, appliances, or other household items are broken, damaged, or missing, please do not try to buy replacements yourself.
Simply report this to us, so we can provide the correct replacement and include it in your final bill if needed.
This will save your valuable time and may also help you avoid unnecessary expenses. The household items inside the apartments have been carefully selected for quality, compatibility, safety, and visual consistency, and this selection process cannot be outsourced to guests.
Cooking and Kitchen Ventilation
When cooking, please always turn on the range hood above the stove, also known as the kitchen hood or aspirator.
This helps remove steam, cooking odors, grease particles, and smoke. It also helps prevent the smoke detector installed in the apartment from being triggered.
The detector may react to steam or smoke generated during cooking, which could lead to a false alarm and activation of the fire alarm system.
In some apartments, including Nella Roccia and Maestro, the kitchen also has an additional kitchen extractor fan connected to the ventilation system.
This fan is separate from the range hood above the stove and may need to be switched on separately when cooking.
For this reason, please follow these basic kitchen ventilation rules when cooking:
- Always turn on the range hood / kitchen hood / aspirator above the stove.
- In apartments with an additional kitchen extractor fan, also switch on the extractor fan when cooking.
- Use the additional extractor fan especially when frying, cooking intensively, or using strong spices.
- Ventilate carefully and briefly if needed, but avoid leaving windows, balcony doors, or terrace doors open for a long time while the climate system is operating.
- Do not ignore cooking steam or smoke, as it may trigger the apartment’s fire alarm system.
The additional kitchen extractor fan is part of the apartment ventilation system. Instructions for its use, including control buttons in selected apartments, are described in the Climate Control and Ventilation article.
If you are not sure whether your apartment has an additional kitchen extractor fan or how to use it, please contact management before intensive cooking.
Cleanliness and Daily Use
Please keep the kitchen and work surfaces clean.
After using the kitchen, please make sure that all surfaces, cabinets, stoves, and appliances are left in the same clean condition they were in when you arrived.
Please clean up after cooking and do not leave food waste, open food, or used tableware outside the kitchen area.
Dishwasher Rules
Please do not wash frying pans and knives in the dishwasher.
Before check-out, please tidy up the kitchen and place used dishes, glasses, and cutlery into the dishwasher, but do not start the washing cycle. Our staff will take care of this later.
Gas Stove and Fire Safety
When using gas stoves, please strictly follow fire safety rules.
Never leave the stove on unattended and never leave food on an open flame without supervision.
In case of fire, use a lid, baking soda, or a fire extinguisher to extinguish the flame. Do not try to put out burning oil with water, as this may spread the fire.
Before Check-out
Before leaving, please leave the kitchen tidy.
Please complete the following:
- Place used dishes, glasses, and cutlery into the dishwasher.
- Do not start the washing cycle.
- Do not put knives or pans into the dishwasher.
- Leave knives and pans clean or rinsed in the kitchen.
- Make sure no food waste, open food, or used tableware is left outside the kitchen area.
Final Note
We kindly ask that you use the kitchen carefully and maintain cleanliness after cooking. This helps preserve the cozy atmosphere of the apartment and ensures a comfortable stay for all guests.
