The Beach: Usage and Safety
Description
One of the unique features of our complex is the private beach, accessible exclusively to apartment guests. We kindly ask you to follow the guidelines below to ensure safety and a pleasant experience by the Adriatic Sea.
The beach is usually prepared for the season during April and early May, and remains maintained until early or mid-October. The exact timing may vary each year, depending on weather conditions, which differ from season to season.
For reference, the official beach season in Montenegro runs from June 15 to September 15.
Please keep in mind: there is no lifeguard service on our beach.
Location and Access
Our beach is located on the west side of the complex, behind a gate equipped with an electronic lock. Use your electronic key to open it — the gate is generally unlocked only during the day, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Please make sure to close the gate behind you to prevent guests' pets from wandering through.
A sloped ramp leads down to the swimming and sunbathing area.
Swimming Environment
Our private beach is a rocky beach, equipped with two piers, each featuring a fixed stainless steel ladder for safe access to the water.
Please note:
- This type of beach may be inconvenient for children, elderly guests, or people with limited mobility.
- An alternative option is a natural stony beach, located just 150 meters away (right past the rock). This beach consistently ranks among the top ten cleanest beaches in Montenegro. You can reach it on foot within a few minutes or by swimming.
Swimming Safety Recommendations
To avoid unexpected situations, protect your health and safety, and enjoy your time in the sea and sun to the fullest, never neglect the following recommendations:
- Use the ladder where the sea is calmer and the wind is weaker at the moment.
- Do not enter the water if conditions appear unsafe or if you do not feel confident.
- Never dive from the piers unless you are fully familiar with the underwater terrain and have checked the current water level — it may vary with the tide.
- Once in the water, assess the strength and direction of the current. While usually mild, currents can change in intensity and direction. If you feel unable to return to the ladder, stay calm and swim toward the nearest accessible shoreline:
- toward Crystal Beach, if the current flows in that direction;
- in the opposite direction, if the current carries you the other way.
- Do not attempt to climb sharp or rocky sections of the shore — this could result in injury.
- Avoid stepping on flat surfaces that are wet or covered in seawater, as they may be extremely slippery due to algae.
Beach Terraces
The beach is equipped with three cascading terraces featuring sun loungers and umbrellas. Sunbeds are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservation is required.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Use any available sunbed that is not already occupied.
- Close umbrellas in case of strong wind to prevent damage or loss.
- Do not secure umbrellas with stones or other objects — the construction is not designed to withstand strong winds and may be damaged.
- Please do not move large stones on the beach or carry them to the terraces. Although the beach may appear completely natural, it is in fact carefully designed — every stone was thoughtfully placed by hand.
- Do not move beach equipment closer to the water from the terraces.
“Pirates”
During the high season, uninvited visitors may occasionally arrive by sea — we refer to them as “pirates.” They usually behave respectfully and briefly stop at the piers. However, sometimes they may attempt to use our beach equipment. Please follow these simple instructions:
- Do not leave valuables unattended.
- Do not leave any beach equipment, including SUP boards or paddles, close to the water.
- Do not engage with these individuals in conversation or confrontation.
- Report any suspicious persons or behavior on the beach to the property manager immediately.
Additional Services
